After much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to cancel the Spring rec season. We have been hoping that the situation would improve sooner so we could offer a Spring program, but we felt there were just too many risks and unanswered questions. Given the continued uncertainties, we did not want to wait any longer before making a decision. This was a difficult decision to make; we know how much the kids enjoy playing and how much you enjoy watching them.
We will continue to monitor the situation in the upcoming weeks and if there is a possibility of putting together Summer travel teams we will communicate that out to you all, of course safety of the kids is our priority.
We will begin issuing refunds this week. Please be patient with us as refunds need to be done manually and will take some time to complete. We hope everything is back to normal for us to return for a Fall season. Thank you for your support and your patience. Please let us know if you have any questions.

UPDATE - April 27, 2020
Hello Woodbridge Little League families,
I hope this message finds you and your families safe and healthy. Woodbridge Little League is still on hold. We will continue to follow the guidance from the State of New Jersey and Woodbridge Township regarding social distancing regulations, which include team sports.
With the ramp up in testing and news of some states starting to open back up, we are optimistic that we may be back out on the fields in a few weeks. We expect an update from our Little League representative on May 11, 2020 and will certainly communicate that message and our plan to all of you.

UPDATE - April 3, 2020
To all Woodbridge Little League families,
I hope this message finds your families safe and healthy. With the state's decision to extend quarantine and social distancing, the WLL season will also be on hold until May 1. During this time, we encourage you to get outside with the kids to throw the ball around and get some practice. Please keep in mind the guidelines set forth by the state and township and maintain the proper social distancing recommendations. Woodbridge Township has closed the majority of our parks/ basketball courts to deter gatherings; this also includes our baseball and softball fields.
This situation is unprecedented and changes daily, we will continue to assess our situation and provide you with updates as we are able to. We are holding out hope that we will be able to provide some sort of season for the kids this summer!

A MESSAGE FROM LEAGUE PRESIDENT CHRISTOPHER MILEVOI:
Hello Woodbridge Little League families,
The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is rapidly changing the way that we - as global citizens - think, act, gather, learn and live our daily lives. And, yes, that also means how we play Little League baseball and softball. Our utmost goal is the health and safety of all of our players, parents, and fans.
That said, Woodbridge Little League has decided to comply with the most recent guidance from Woodbridge Township, the State of New Jersey, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in regard to gatherings. We are postponing our opening day parade and ceremony scheduled for April 4th, with the hopes to reschedule for a later date. Our Board members are still working in the background putting teams together, gathering equipment, and getting the concession stands ready when we get back to the fields. As a Board, we have committed to meet bi-weekly to assess the situation and will be providing updates via email.
We recognize that this is taking place in the heart of the traditional Little League season and we share in the great disappointment that many are feeling surrounding this additional pause in the 2020 season. However, it is our hope that by doing this, we will all play a small, but important part in flattening the curve in the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
